DIT University Dehradun is a private university established in 1998. The university is recognized by UGC, AICTE, and PCI. The university is a member of the AIU. It is ranked #23 out of 160 under the ‘Engineering’ category by Outlook 2024.
DIT Dehradun offers B.Tech as its flagship program. The fee for B.Tech is INR 8.9 lakhs. The eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 with the PCM stream from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks (5% relaxation for the SC/ST category). The selection process is based on a valid score in JEE Main examination. The overall cutoff percentile established for the XAT examination for the general category is 90.
DIT Dehradun provides various scholarships such as Uttarakhand/Other Himalayan States Schlarship, Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Scholarship for Girl Students, Scholarship for Children of Defence Personnel, Sports Scholarship etc.
