Graphic Era University (GEU) in Dehradun, established in 1993, is a prominent deemed-to-be university offering a range of academic programs. The university holds approvals from UGC, AIU, and AICTE and has received NAAC accreditation with an ‘A’ grade, reflecting its strong academic standards and institutional quality. In the GEU Ranking 2024, NIRF placed it at the 52nd position in the overall category out of 200 institutions and the 59th position in the management category out of 125 institutions.

At the undergraduate level, GEU offers a BTech program across multiple specializations. For eligibility, candidates (excluding those applying for BTech in Biotechnology) must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects and a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Admissions for these BTech specializations are determined by JEE Main ranks. However, for BTech in Biotechnology, candidates are assessed based on their 10+2 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The total course fee for the BTech program at GEU is approximately INR 13.32 lakhs.

GEU also offers an MBA program. To be eligible, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university or institution. Admission to the MBA program is based on a merit list that takes into account scores from entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, or XAT, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. For the 2023 MBA admissions, the CAT cutoff was set at 75 percentile. The total course fee for the MBA program is approximately INR 6.72 lakhs.
