Founded by Rishabh Educational Trust in 2006, Tula’s Institute Dehradun is affiliated to Uttarakhand Trust University. AICTE approved, the institute has also been accredited with Grade A+ by the NAAC. In 2024, Outlook and The Week ranked it at 65 and 153 for BTech, respectively.
Tula Institute Dehradun offers BTech in eight specialisations. Candidates are enrolled based on their 10+2 scores and JEE Mains/UKSEE scores, followed by counselling. The total fees for this four-year program ranges from Rs 4.42 Lakhs to Rs 6.60 Lakhs. In addition to BTech, some of the popular Tula Institute courses include BCA, MBA, BCom Hons, BJMC, MCA, and MTech.
Tula Institute Placement 2024 witnessed the highest salary being offered at INR 22 LPA by Adobe. The lowest salary offered stood at INR 2 LPA by Guardian Life Insurance. Some of the top recruiters for 2024 included Adobe, BYJU’s, Seed Infotech, Extramarks Education India Pvt Ltd, and Jaro Education.
Tulas Dehradun offers scholarships based on various categories. The Bright Future’s Scholarships Scheme grants Rs 10,000/- to meritorious students, while students with a valid Uttarakhand Domicile are granted Rs 10,000 as well.

Simple and peaceful college
What I Liked
  • Infrastructure is simple and good. The infrastructure is not modern type. College environment is also peaceful. Students can study peacefully in this environment.
Placement Experience:

There are many companies who come here for placements and many students getting placements from my course. Highest package offered for my course till now is around 5 to 6 lakh and around 40% students get placed.

Remarks:

I did some research and I found this college and I took admission here because of the affordability and the environment. There is no entrance exam to take admission in this college. And also, this college is a Jain college which is pure vegetarian.

Placement Experience: Companies like boon, IBM and many more come for placement. The placement is good but the packages are not satisfactory compared to fees. More companies should come as now our college is NAAC A+ and NBA accredited.
Remarks: Suggestion from a relative and location nearby and my friends are also in the same college, so that’s the main reason. The fees is low comparatively than other colleges, so no burden is there on my parents.

Placement Experience: Yes, placements are good. ROI (Rate of Interest) is worth it. If you have good communication skills or even normal skills, you’ll get placed — but don’t expect more than ₹20,000 in hand as a fresher. It totally depends on you.
Remarks: I’m stuck in this college — it is not a good fit for me. There are no formalities like test or interview for admission. It’s an average college. If you want a normal or budget-friendly option, then go for it.

Placement Experience: Placements are good here. You can easily get a job if you stay focused. Even if you study just one core subject properly, you can get a decent placement — average package being around ₹3 LPA.
Remarks: Admission is direct for most courses. However, to opt for Computer Science in B.Tech, you need to have at least 70% in both 10th and 12th. Other branches have relaxed requirements.
